Adjusting the Brightness on a Solid scoreboard

Adjusting the Brightness on a Solid scoreboard (outdoor LED screen)

There are TWO main methods to alter the brightness on Solid scoreboards.
On bright sunny days, you leave the LED screen on the brightest setting.
On dark cloudy days, or for night games, you will want to dim the scoreboard.
The scoreboard will be easier to read (and more comfortable for the viewers).

1. If you are using the program directly (on a laptop PC).
There should be a [light bulb] button near the Solid logo.
Click on it and it turns into a slide control.
Drag this control left and right - while watching the scoreboard to set the intensity of the LED.
The system will reset to 100% brightness the next time the app opens.

2. If the club is using the Solid Remote-App (www.solidcontrol.com.au)
In the [settings] tab there are dimming settings. Select your choice and press [update]

Also worth noting: If the scoreboard appears unusally Dim. And there is a Sender-Box nearby (plugged into the PC) with digitial numbers on the front. Then check this setting.
16 = full brightness, and zero is full-dim (you will NOT see any image on the LED screen if it reads "0").
